(SK, NS and NB Only) Checking Drug Interactions

Interaction checking can be performed in the Medication Record tab.

1. Select the Medication Record tab.
2. Select the Interaction Check checkboxes for each prescription to be checked.
3. Select the Interactions button. The ‘Drug Interactions’ window appears.
4. Select the Add button to add other drugs, if required.
5. Select the Check button. The Interaction Results will be displayed in the Interaction Summary window.

Note: The Interaction Summary window displays all drug interactions and associated levels of severity that the patient may experience by taking this prescription (e.g., drug-drug, drug-allergy, drug-food, drug-condition) and is based on the patient information in PharmaClik Rx.

6. Select the magnifying glass in the Interaction Summary window to view and print detailed information about the interaction.
7. In the Interaction Summary window, select the Print or Accept button depending on your requirements.
